Temporary COVID-19 Assistance Available

Hope Begins Here.

Due to the COVID-19 Crisis we are temporarily offering the following assistance:

Food Assistance. Families and individuals in need may come to the Bountiful Community Food Pantry twice a month to receive about one week of food. We ask that you not come twice in the same week. Due to COVID-19, individuals and families can check in at the front door rather than coming into the market, and food will be brought outside to them. If additional food assistance is needed please contact our Client Services Manager,

  1. Client registration is currently NOT REQUIRED to receive food assistance due to COVID-19.  However, if you wish to register as a client please see GET HELP.
  2. Clients who live outside of Davis County are welcome to come to the Bountiful Community Food Pantry but may find food resources and other assistance closer to home by calling 211 Information and Referral.

 

Gas/Electric Utility Assistance (only available to Davis County residents). Limited utility (limited to gas and electric) assistance is available to those who qualify, while funds are available. To qualify for utility assistance individuals must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Live in Davis County
  2. Lost work due to COVID-19 and not receiving unemployment OR have lost hours due to COVID-19 and not receiving unemployment
  3. Income level under 185% poverty

 

To apply for utility assistance do the following:

  1. Complete the Bountiful Community Food Pantry Client Application
  2. Fill out the Bountiful Community Food Pantry Utility Assistance Application

 

Rental Assistance (only available to southern Davis County residents; residents of northern Davis County should contact Open Doors in Layton, 801-771-4642). Limited rental assistance is available to those who qualify, while funds are available. To qualify for rental assistance individuals must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Live in South Davis County (North Salt Lake - Farmington)
  2. Lost work due to COVID-19 and not receiving unemployment OR have lost hours due to COVID-19 and not receiving unemployment
  3. Monthly rental payment less than or equal to $1500
  4. Have a current lease agreement

 

To apply for rental assistance do the following:

  1. Complete the Bountiful Community Food Pantry Client Application
  2. Fill out the Bountiful Community Food Pantry Rental Assistance Application

 

Bus Tokens Bus tokens are temporarily available for individuals who have registered as clients.  To register as a client please see GET HELP.

Bus tokens will be given for the following reasons:

  1. Travel to and from work
  2. Travel to work related interviews
  3. Travel for medical care
  4. Travel to acquire food assistance
