Board Member
Russ owned and operated a small manufacturing company, Quality Stamp and Sign, for over 40 years. He started in 1974 and worked in all aspects of the business including manufacturing, sales and customer relations. In 1993 he purchased the business which became nationally recognized and respected in the industry of stamps and signs.
Russ enjoys being involved with community service. He served on the International IMIA Board of directors for 12 years and as board chair for 4 years. He spent three years serving as Cub Scout Roundtable Commissioner for the Great Salt Lake Council of the BSA. He served for fourteen years as the Order Of The Arrow Chapter Advisor for Farmington Bay Scout District. Russell joined the Bountiful Food Pantry in 2012 & served as Board Chair from 2023-2025.
Russell has several scouting awards: the Silver Beaver and the Vigil Honor from the Order of the Arrow. He is an avid flower gardener, growing many special varieties, plastic model builder, and builder of model rockets. He supports the Arts with season tickets to the ballet, Opera and the Utah Symphony. He is also an avid history reader. Russ in now retired & assists his daughter in running a profitable Etsy shop.
